A well -established Civil Engineering & Tarmacadam company are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager. In this role, you will oversee all construction projects from start to finish, reporting to our Directors. You will be responsible for delivering all projects on time and ensuring that works are undertaken in accordance with architectural plans, specifications, and aspects of health and safety working closely alongside our Tarmacadam Division.  

Duties will also include checking progress on site, reporting programme updates, inspecting the quality of the works and preparing reports for the team of Directors. You will have regular interface between clients, our in-house quantity surveying and estimating team, contractors, engineers and other industry professionals.

You will be well-organised and your ability to be part of our team is essential. You will also be required to work with our senior team in terms of its marketing and client relationship activities.

Key skills and previous experience
·    Previous experience in a similar role
·    Experience in Civil Engineering/Groundworks
·    Experience with Risk Assessments and all aspects of health and safety paperwork
·    Great face-to-face with customers
·    Self -managing/ ambitious and tenacious!
