The local up and coming Event Centre is expanding and is looking for a Bar
Supervisor: To assist senior management in the effective running of the bar and
ensuring customer satisfaction, by maintaining an exceptional standard of
delivery and professionalism whilst achieving profitability in line with
budget.
- To be aware of financial targets as a whole
- To take positive action to meet objectives and achieve goals
- To be commercially aware in order to drive the business forward
- To be proactive in maximising sales and generating revenue
- To input new ideas for service and products to maintain a competitive
leading edge
-To be an effective communicator with guests and clients at all levels
- To assist management in the control of wage costs in line with budget
- To assist with stock control and ordering
- To ensure guests drinks are prepared and served in line with company
standard
- To ensure weekly stock checks are carried out
- To be involved in the setting and control of service and quality
standards
- To pay attention to detail in all aspects of a customer’s experience
-To take prompt action toward customer complaints
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the venue
-To lead by example
-To coach team members and develops their skills and measure performance
- To give clear directions to team members
- To ensure the appearance of team members is in line with company policy
-To handle cash and keys in a responsible way according to company policy
-To ensure all departments comply with all statutory and legal requirements
-To undertake any other reasonable duties as and when required
