The Aura-Soma Academy is the educational faculty that supports the worldwide education of students in Aura-Soma.

Job summary:
The role of the administrator is to work within a small team to deliver excellence in customer service to an international audience in respect of the educational services offered by and to the community. The role includes facilitating courses internationally and at our central site from inception through to delivery. Specifically this will mean using initiative and diplomacy when handling all aspects of customer and B2B communication in email, in person and on the phone.
Key roles and responsibilities:
·         Liaising with international students to ensure they are happy with all aspects of their stay and recommend us to others. This will include understanding translation needs, arranging transport and assigning accommodation at our residential centre.
·         Manage the organisation and delivery of paid-for events both locally and internationally that maximise income and uphold and represent the Aura-Soma Academy’s values to existing customers.
·         Source venues and liaise with venue providers on catering, layout, AV etc.
·         Achieve required course attendance levels, expectation is that this will be achieved by publicising events and courses not only to the Academy’s existing community but also to new audiences externally.
·         Write event listings for the company website and web mail outs.
·         Ensure adverts and other materials are properly designed and produced
·         Ensure all enquires whether confirmed or not are recorded and followed up appropriately.
·         Maximise opportunity’s for full occupancy at our residential teaching academy and yurt village.

Essential:
·         Proven excellence in delivering all aspects of customer service
·         Detail orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         Intermediate level IT skills using Microsoft Office in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
·         Ability to problem solve and create Cost Benefit Analyses as required.
·         Ability to prioritise tasks, keep calm and maintain high standards under pressure.
·         Very strong ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
·         Self-starting and motivated
·         Excellent interpersonal/diplomacy and communication skills
·         The role will require some travel, evenings, early mornings and weekends, for which time off in lieu will be given.
Desirable
·         Experience of working in a small organisation
·         Events management experience
·         Language skills
