NFU Mutual's agency in Chesterfield is currently recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler. 
The sales staff we employ excel at building trusted, long-term customer relationships. They’re more interested in the face-to-face contact and understanding of their customer’s needs, than the cold call and quick sell. It's because of this approach that we've come to be trusted as a local insurance adviser by so many who live and work in the area. 

In this role you will need to be comfortable building a strong new business pipeline by developing new local relationships within key sectors. Promoting the organisation at every turn and relish the challenge to drive the growth of a truly customer-focused local business. In return, you can expect full product training in a friendly and supportive environment.

We are looking for an individual who is educated to at least A-level or above, confident and can apply their customer servicing expertise to assist the Agency in delivering the award winning service that NFU Mutual has become renowned for.

This opportunity will suit someone who already has a track record of commercial and/or personal lines insurance sales success in order for the growth aspirations of the Agency to be achieved.

You will be liaising with clients, Agents and underwriters; therefore good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner are crucial. You will also demonstrate competent use of Microsoft applications, Customer Relationship Management systems and must display excellent literacy skills.

The salary is £25,000-£30,000 plus bonus depending on previous experience and the position is full-time standard office hours, five days a week plus pension. Whilst this position is office based a full driving license and your own vehicle is essential, as you will be required to travel to customer premises on a regular basis.
