This key role takes place in a busy, fast pace office and encompasses the responsibility of ordering and maintaining stock levels for all areas of the business
The right person for this role will be / have;
• An engineering or materials handling background
• Strong procurement and expediting experience
• Experience in high-level contract negotiations with suppliers
• Previous buying experience and have an understanding of engineering/machinery components including transmission, pneumatics and hydraulics etc.
• Manage stock levels to meet manufacturing and spares support requirements
• Keep control of budget levels and stockholding
• Acute attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently in a high volume environment
• Solid time management skills

• Participate in continuous improvement programs
• Maintain up to date professional and technical knowledge
