Job Type:             39 hour week plus overtime as required.

7.30 to 4.30 (3.30 on a Friday)

This position could be part time with hours or days to suit.

23 days holiday per year for full time employees.

Salary:                  Salary is dependent on experience

A local well know company are seeking a Trainee Technical Assistant To work alongside the nursery management on stock control, crop monitoring, ISO administration  and Health and Safety management.

Also to be able to work in all sectors of the business as required in the production, handling and packing of trees and shrubs.

Work involves a mix of office based and outdoor work.

Candidate must have an interest in plants, enjoy the outdoors, be keen to learn, must be good with numbers and be able to work with Microsoft office.

The position would suit a graduate with an interest in the outdoors, or a young person with a good education that would look for an apprenticeship in Nursery Stock Production.

Apprenticeships available for NVQ2 or 3 in Nursery Stock production.

Alternatively internal and external training is available for graduates or the more experienced.
