Location:             Horncastle

Job Type:             39 hour week plus overtime as required.

7.30 to 4.30 (3.30 on a Friday)

23 days holiday per year.

Salary:                  Salary is dependent on experience

A local well known business is looking to recruit a Despatch Worker to work within a busy team, this job would suit a fit person that enjoys working outside and works well in a team.

The job involves;

ü  To work within a small team planning, collating, packing and loading orders for our customers.

ü  Tree and plants have to be moved from our various work locations to the main site and put together for loading.

ü  Plants are also handled from our suppliers, and regrouped to send out.

ü  Working with fork trucks for handling pallets and large material.

ü  When not busy on orders staff are expected to work within the production nurseries as requested.    

The work is very physical so would suit someone who is very fit and strong.

The work is outdoors and involves a lot of handling, lifting and moving of plants and trees.

Driving licence essential.  

Forklift licence (or prepared to do the training).

Apprenticeships available for NVQ2 or 3 in Nursery Stock Production.

Alternatively internal and external training is available.
