We have an exciting vacancy for a Design Engineer.
The role involves producing high-quality production drawings and detailed drawings for sub-contract manufacture, as well as updating and improving designs for existing equipment.
An awareness of manufacturing implications and costs as well as liaising with the company’s sales team and clients is also an integral part of the role.
The right candidate will also have / be:
Previous experience in design in a manufacturing environment
Experienced in 3D CAD
Knowledge of SolidWorks experience beneficial.
Attention to details
Good team player
Excellent time keeping
Able to work to deadlines
Design knowledge of agricultural machinery
Material handling would be beneficial
